Yk, I hate that adaptations keep making Peter a high schooler, and not just because it means he never evolves, but because the adaptations now also include wider Marvel, whitch usually (thanks to the MCU) is at the modern day stage with legacy characters and new age teen heroes, meaning that Peter is taking up Miles' spot and you can really tell when they put him next to someone like Kamala Khan or Sam Alexander who are Miles' pals. the thing about bojack horseman that still gets me to this day is how it manages to give weight to all horrible things that have been done to bojack AND the horrible things he does to others AND how the entertainment industry runs on various cultures of exploitation and abuse that makes addressing these issues impossible AND the show did all of that simultaneously while ALSO being one of the funniest show's ever made. it's just so superb, a true artistic vision at every level from its writing to its animation style. Despite starting a decade ago and finishing 4 years ago, there's hardly any commentary, political or otherwise, in it that isn't still either intelligently relevant or cleverly prescient. you might think I'm exaggerating when I say this show has never been out of my watch rotation since I started watching it, but I'm not! It's set in the 90s so there's discussion of homophobia, the AIDs crisis and Charles' canon child abuse. Suffice to say, his bisexual awakening is quite fraught. Recommended!

Edwin learned black magic in Hell and kind of went to the Dark Side. I love the trope of "Everyone thinks Character avoids violence because they're scared/weak/nice/bad at it, but actually they're a bit too good at it" and this fic does it well. I love regular Edwin, but Lord Bone was also pretty cool.

Outsider PoV of the boys and the agency through the years from the perspective of the Ghost Postman. He's kind of underrated as a side character, but there are so many Implications about the Dead Letter Office, so I enjoyed the worldbuilding. And the supernatural community of London gossiping about/shipping the boys (they're just like us, for real). Love that trope.

This one's funny, generous with the yearning and UST and is part of a series that also touches on the darker side of the music industry/celebrity, which I appreciated. And it also has this excellent visual representation of the online drama.

In Nihongo the mudra is called Dandain.

Jizo Bodhisattva is one of the Bodhisattvas that are the object of worship in Buddhism. He is said to have been entrusted by the Buddha to save sentient beings during the period of no Buddhism, from the time of the Buddha's death to the time Maitreya Bodhisattva attained Buddhahood. It really fits Yuji that his role is to save all living beings! Also because Jizo boddhisattvas was in a form of a child, and Yuji is the youngest of the bunch.

Jizo = King Enma/Yama

Regarding the connection with Sukuna's mudra. Sukuna's hand seal is the Enma Tenjirushi (Yama-ten seal), and Jizo is treated the same as King Enma! Interpret it however you want!

Also the implications of Yuji as rep for Jizo holding the memorial service for unborn babies 😭 im sobbing! Not to mention crossing the stone bridge in hell for those children!

So Yuuji's mudra is like Jizo Boddhisatva then his red hoodie around his neck...isn't it like the red bib on Jizo statues?! Jizo Boddhisattva came to rescue the children piling up stones at Sai no Kawara at the banks of Sanzu River. Jizo boddhisattva also in charge to hold memorial service for unborn babies! Help them crossing the river! The bad children. You know what this means??
